Green the Block Monthly Days of Action
In 2010, we’re engaging communities throughout the country in monthly Green The Block Action Days.
Each month, communities will organize their own education, awareness and service events focused on a particular aspect of building the green economy. Check out the themes for each month. Green The Block will help with online materials, national networking, media, content, and theme support. You help by planning an event in your community!
These Action Days are modeled after the National Service and Remembrance Day, which featured more than 100 Green the Block events on September 11, 2009.
March, 2010: Women in the Green Economy
March will honor and provide resources for women in the green economy, in conjunction with Women's History Month.
