President Obama has called upon all Americans to participate in our nation's recovery and renewal by serving in our communities on September 11, 2009, National Service Day, as part of the United We Serve initiative.

Green For All and the Hip Hop Caucus have joined together to launch a new campaign, Green The Block, to educate and mobilize low-income communities and communities of color to ensure a voice and stake in the clean-energy economy.

Green The Block is proud to stand in solidarity with the President and United We Serve. We call upon you to participate in the 9.11.09 Green The Block National Day of Service.
